Estimator – Aluminium Curtain Walling, Glazing, Windows & Doors

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a specialist subcontractor delivering high-quality aluminium curtain walling glazing windows and door packages across the East Midlands and wider UK.

This role requires strong proven experience working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 main contractors with a solid understanding of commercial construction environments procurement processes and competitive tendering.

You will be working on a variety of projects ranging from 1m to 5m using leading façade and window systems including Kawneer Senior Architectural Systems and Technal and producing estimates using LogiKal software

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for curtain walling glazing and aluminium window/door packages
• Use LogiKal software to produce detailed and technically accurate quotations and system outputs
• Review tender documentation drawings specifications and employers requirements in detail
• Carry out detailed take-offs and material schedules
• Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Build up labour plant and material costs for tenders
• Identify risks opportunities and value engineering options
• Work closely with commercial and pre-construction teams on bid submissions
• Attend tender review meetings and support handover to delivery teams
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 main contractors

• Proven experience as an Estimator within façades glazing or aluminium systems
• Strong experience working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 main contractors is essential
• Good technical knowledge of Kawneer Senior Architectural Systems and Technal products
• Proficient in LogiKal software for estimating and system design outputs
• Experience pricing curtain walling glazing and aluminium systems in the 1m5m range
• Strong understanding of construction procurement and contract processes
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
• High attention to detail and strong numerical capability
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously under tight deadlines
