ESS Delivery Project Manager UK

As our ESS Delivery Project Manager you will lead the successful delivery of utility-scale battery energy storage projects from contract award through commissioning and handover. Ready to make a visible impact Lets dive in:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of ESS and BESS projects across the UK ensuring delivery on time within budget scope and quality expectations.
• Own the project execution strategy including schedules resource plans cost control risk registers and mitigation actions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers EPC partners subcontractors and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage contractual obligations variations claims payment milestones and project reporting in close collaboration with commercial and legal stakeholders.
• Coordinate engineering supply chain logistics service commissioning and quality teams to ensure seamless execution and successful site handover.
• Lead project governance resolve escalations and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and post-project reviews.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering Renewable Energy Project Management or a comparable technical discipline.
• 2 years experience in project coordination project management delivery or operations ideally within ESS solar electrical infrastructure construction or another technical environment.
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex projects from contract award through commissioning acceptance testing and customer handover.
• Strong knowledge of BESS technology electrical systems grid connection interfaces construction activities and commissioning processes.
• Solid experience in contract management budget ownership change control risk management and stakeholder negotiation.
• Confident leadership communication and decision-making skills with the ability to manage cross-functional and multicultural project teams.
• English C1; additional European languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the UK and occasionally within Europe.
