Financial institutions are rethinking how they operate and nCino sits at the heart of that change. As our External Account Executive youll own new business growth across your territory introducing banks and financial institutions to a smarter way of working while deepening our footprint with the customers we already serve.

This is a role for someone who enjoys the full arc of a sale: spotting the opportunity challenging the status quo and guiding a complex deal all the way to close. Youll work alongside product professional services marketing and customer success colleagues and youll have real influence over how nCinos brand shows up across your market.

Theres plenty of room to grow here too whether thats expanding into new segments taking on larger accounts or building your expertise across an evolving product suite.

What Youll Do:

  • Identify and engage prospective customers across your territory and market segment

  • Bring a fresh perspective to prospective customers challenging them to think differently about their technology

  • Qualify and progress opportunities keeping a healthy pipeline to meet quarterly and annual targets

  • Build nCinos brand presence and reputation across your territory Take a consultative approach using your knowledge of the nCino solution and the Salesforce platform to solve real client problems

  • Navigate complex sales cycles: mapping decision-making processes negotiating contracts and closing business

  • Identify key stakeholders within prospective accounts and build consensus among them

  • Partner closely with inside sales and marketing colleagues to keep messaging consistent

  • Grow existing accounts by maintaining strong client relationships and partnering with Customer Success on adoption

  • Introduce new nCino products and offerings to existing customers


Ideally Youll Have:

  • A bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience

  • A strong track record in sales with the ability to point to consistent results

  • The confidence to challenge executive decision-makers and build consensus among client leadership including at C-suite level

  • Excellent listening verbal and written communication skills with the ability to demonstrate software solutions both onsite and virtually

  • A collaborative working style comfortable partnering with colleagues across product sales professional services support and finance

  • Willingness to travel to client locations across the UK and EMEA as needed

Nice to Have:

  • Banking or commercial banking domain expertise

  • A postgraduate degree or relevant certifications

  • A flexible resourceful approach to problem-solving in a collaborative entrepreneurial environment

  • Strong organisational skills balancing high performance with process discipline

The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge skills abilities proficiencies experience education licensures/certifications as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement. The recruiter for this job posting can share more compensation details during the recruitment process as base salary is only one component of the total compensation package per position posted.

The base salary range for this job is:

69300.00 - 128200.00
