This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic English specialist who can inspire students and deliver engaging lessons that develop literacy analytical skills creativity and confidence across the secondary curriculum.

The successful English Teacher will teach across KS3 to KS5 delivering challenging and engaging lessons while supporting students to make strong academic progress.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality English lessons across KS3 KS4 and KS5

• Preparing students effectively for GCSE and A Level examinations

• Developing students reading writing analytical and communication skills

• Differentiating lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs

• Monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback

• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement

• Contributing positively to the wider English department

The school is seeking an English Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent teaching qualification

• Has experience teaching English within a secondary school

• Can confidently teach across KS3 to KS5

• Has strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills

• Is committed to raising attainment and student engagement

• Works effectively as part of a collaborative department
