The successful English Teacher will teach across KS3 to KS5 delivering well-planned and stimulating lessons that challenge students and encourage a genuine enthusiasm for English. Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 KS4 and KS5

• Preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations

• Differentiating teaching to meet a range of abilities and learning needs

• Monitoring progress and providing effective feedback

• Contributing to the wider English department and school community

The school would like to appoint an English Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent teaching qualification

• Has experience teaching English within a secondary school

• Can confidently teach across KS3 to KS5

• Has strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills

• Is passionate about raising attainment and student engagement

• Works well as part of a collaborative and supportive department
