Our Client is looking for an English Teacher to work within a Mixed School in Walsall. The successful English Teacher will be expected to teach English across KS3 & KS4 and will join a highly successful and supportive department.

The department is well resourced and boasts an approachable and supportive Head of Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an English Teacher to join a school that places a strong emphasis on literacy academic achievement and student development.

The successful candidate will be expected to plan and deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons support students with their GCSE preparation and contribute to the continued development of the department. The school is happy to receive applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs in addition to overseas teachers with a formal teaching qualification.

• English Teacher with the ability to teach English at KS3 & KS4

• Experience teaching English Language and Literature

• A formal teaching qualification with QTS such as a PGCE

• Strong subject knowledge across English Language and Literature

• Experience preparing students for GCSE examinations

• Ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Ability to support students with different abilities and learning needs

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Legal ability to work within the UK
