Engineering Manager
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to join a successful and innovative manufacturing business in East Yorkshire leading a multi-disciplinary team across Mechanical Electrical and Software Engineering.
The Role
- Lead develop and drive performance across the Engineering team
- Ensure accurate and on-time delivery of engineering drawings models and BOMs
- Work closely with R&D Manufacturing Quality Supply Chain and Sales
- Drive continuous improvement cost reduction and right-first-time performance
- Improve products and manufacturing processes through DFMA and engineering change
- Monitor KPIs across cost quality delivery and efficiency
- Support technical quotations and new customer requirements
- Maintain strong quality and compliance standards including CE marking
What Were Looking For
- Strong engineering background and relevant qualification
- Proven Engineering Management and people leadership experience
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Knowledge of drawings BOMs and product/manufacturing processes
- Commercially aware with strong problem-solving and strategic planning skills
- A collaborative hands-on leader who can drive accountability improvement and results
