Job Summary
The Marina Engineer II ensures the safety cleanliness and operational excellence of marina facilities by performing hands-on plumbing electrical and carpentry maintenance. This role balances technical repairs with proactive customer engagement and oversight of third-party vendors to support seamless facility operations. The engineer also manages equipment inspections and represents the CRC Marinas brand by fostering positive relationships within the local boating community.
- Engage proactively with customers to minimize friction and provide expert recommendations for third-party boat maintenance services.
- Ensure all marina facilities are safe clean and well maintained including taking immediate action to resolve identified issues.
- Complete assigned maintenance tasks including plumbing electrical and carpentry tasks within the designated time period.
- Oversee third-party vendors that are onsite performing routine services as well as vendors engaged for specific projects to ensure compliance and quality performance of their work.
- Perform safety tool equipment and supply inspections to verify the facility maintains the resources needed for safe effective business operations.
- Cultivate relationships with the boating community including brokers captains and marine service providers to elevate the CRC Marinas brand and foster a positive reputation within the local maritime industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong proficiency in Google Suite
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years
- Must be able to swim
- California Boaters License
- Handling of Biological Materials or Hazardous Waste
- The physical requirements for this position include: Below waist lift - 67lbs Above waist lift - 67lbs Push/pull (walking) - 75lbs of force Overhead reaching (repetitive) - Occasional Unilateral balance - Average of 20 seconds or more per leg Kneeling/work bending over (sustained) - Occasional Ladder climb high step - Occasional
- Valid California drivers license; Maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law. (This role requires the regular and frequent operation of a vehicle as defined in the Companys MVR policy and is part of the essential duties of this position.)
Compensation:
Base Pay Start Rate:$28.00
