At Spire Alexandra Hospital our Engineering team plays a vital role in supporting safe high-quality patient care. Were looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Estates team and help keep our hospital environment running smoothly safely and efficiently.

This is a varied hands-on role where youll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across electrical systems and hospital infrastructure. From fault finding and testing to supporting critical building services youll work in a modern healthcare environment where your skills have a direct impact on patients colleagues and visitors every day.

What Youll Be Doing

• Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance
• Electrical testing fault finding and minor installations
• Supporting essential hospital systems including electrical infrastructure ventilation and water services
• Working alongside specialist contractors and ensuring compliance with HTM guidance
• Participating in a 1-in-4 on-call rota
• Helping drive continuous improvement across the hospital estate

What Were Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience in electrical maintenance and repair
• A proactive solutions-focused approach
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently

Healthcare experience is welcomed but not essentialfull support and training will be provided.
