Job Summary
We are looking for an Employment Solicitor to join a well-established and progressive firm recognised for its ambitious growth plans modern approach to legal services and commitment to supporting talented professionals in building long-term successful careers.
- Managing your own caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters for Claimants and Respondents;
- Advising clients on all aspects of employment law and employment contracts;
- Drafting employment contracts handbooks policies and related documentation;
- Representing clients in Employment Tribunals and negotiating settlement agreements;
- Supporting clients through grievance and disciplinary procedures;
- Providing practical advice on employee relations matters;
- Creating employment law support documents template letters and guidance materials;
- Delivering employment law training sessions and client updates;
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships;
- Supporting business development networking and promoting the growth of the employment department.
- 2 years PQE;
- Strong experience in Employment Law;
- Experience handling both contentious and non-contentious matters;
- Ability to manage matters independently with minimal supervision;
- Excellent drafting advocacy negotiation and communication skills;
- Good understanding of ACAS guidelines and Employment Tribunal Rules;
- Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach;
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
