POSITION TYPE: Full-Time (40 hour salaried unlimited flexible schedule)
The Employment Services Supervisor (ESS) is a regional leadership role responsible for launching developing and sustaining high-quality Supported Employment services across Middlesex Mercer Hunterdon Somerset Union Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Reporting directly to the VP of Vocational Services this position plays a critical role in expanding community-based employment services while ensuring strong service integrity compliance and outcomes. This is a growth-oriented opportunity for a professional who thrives in building programs developing partnerships and leading by example.
This role is intentionally designed as a hands-on leadership position in its initial phase. The ESS will maintain a Supported Employment caseload during early regional development to establish service quality community presence employer relationships and strong referral partnerships. The ESS will work closely with NJ Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (NJDVR) Support Coordination employers and community stakeholders to generate referrals and expand access to individualized employment services. As service demand increases the role transitions into a fully supervisory position with responsibility for hiring training coaching and overseeing Employment Specialists.
As the region grows the ESS will assume full regional supervisory capacity supporting approximately eight Employment Specialists each serving 1520 individuals. The successful candidate is highly organized results-driven and skilled in job development staff mentorship and program development. This position requires strong communication skills accountability and a commitment to high-quality Supported Employment outcomes. Two years of experience providing individualized Supported Employment is preferred along with prior supervisory or leadership experience. Spanish language proficiency is a plus but not required.

- Have a Bachelors degree or higher in the field of human services from an accredited college or university plus one (1) year of experience in human services or employment services; or have an Associates degree in the field of human services from an accredited college or university plus three (3) years of experience in the field of human services or employment services.
- Be familiar with the demands and expectations of business and industry.
- Valid unrestricted drivers license with good driving record
- Proof of valid auto insurance coverage.
- Ability to lift and transfer at least 50 pounds
- The ability to sit bend squat reach be agile physically pursue clients on foot and stand for several hours at a time
- The ability to read write and verbally communicate in English and direct/respond to clients needs
- Basic Computer Literacy

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- The ability to work a flexible schedule of 40 hours or more including nights weekends and holidays as needed as well as the ability to oversee and supervise a team working flexible hours.
- The ability to oversee teach and support Employment Specialists/Vocational Specialists.
- Ability to manage employees provide progressive corrective action and mentorship.
- Ability to manage employees schedules and ensure billable work quotas are met.
- Ability to teach employees and manage independent job skills and requirements using job task analysis and job specific supports including assistive technology and personal assistance.
- Ability to provide Employment Services Job Coaching Functional Skills training and Transition services to participants.
- An understanding of the services within vocational services including but not limited to quality assurance compliance and billing structure.
- The ability to travel to various vocational programs within New Jersey and Delaware.
- Ability to coordinate and facilitate meetings with consumers counselors and other stakeholders.
- Provide transportation in personal vehicle if needed.
- Ability to develop maintain manage and grow relationships with businesses and organizations.
- Maintaining compliance with funding source standards including required documentation daily logs weekly reports calendars and incident reports for the services provided.
- Displaying the ability to think calmly and clearly during an emergency and assist clients in medical facilities during medical emergencies.
- Promoting and maintaining the positive public image of Allies Inc.
- Successfully completing required residential training including but not limited to: New Hire Orientation; CPR and First Aid; Medication Administration; Preventing Abuse Neglect and Exploitation; Shifting Expectations Life Experience and Services; Life Threatening Emergencies (Danielles Law); Stephen Komninos Law; Crisis Management; Corporate Compliance; General Behavior; In-House Orientation; and other required trainings.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility in accepting other duties as assigned.
