Location: York (hybrid and flexible working)
Salary: 55000 to 85000
Experience: 2 years PQE

Our client is growing and is open to speaking with lawyers from around 2 years PQE upwards (and potentially slightly below for the right person). You will be part of a collaborative environment with accessible senior support clear progression and the chance to develop your expertise across a varied employment caseload.
You will advise a broad client base on a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The work is interesting and often complex with the support and mentoring in place to help you build confidence broaden your technical experience and progress in a sustainable way.
What Youll Be Doing
- Managing your own matters with appropriate supervision and support
- Advising employers on day-to-day HR and employment issues
- Drafting and negotiating employment documentation (including contracts and policies)
- Advising on disciplinary and grievance matters
- Supporting on restructures and redundancy processes
- Advising on TUPE and business change matters
- Supporting on employment tribunal claims and settlement negotiations
- Building and strengthening relationships with existing and new clients
- Delivering excellent client care and contributing to business development activity
What Were Looking For
- A qualified Solicitor with 2 years PQE in employment law (respondent and/or claimant experience welcomed)
- Comfortable managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
- Strong drafting skills and a practical client-focused approach
- A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in being part of a growing team
- Confidence building relationships and getting involved in networking and business development

Working Arrangements
Hybrid and flexible working are available. The role is based in York outside of the city centre - parking and local amenities are available. Other locations across North Yorkshire will be considered
