What this job involves

Core Function:

The EMEA Sustainability Analyst (P1) is the regional analytical backbone for the EMEA sustainability programme. Sitting within the Sustainability Operations Team (SOT) function this role provides dedicated data analytics quality assurance and reporting support to both the Regional Operations Lead (Mark) and the IFM Programme Lead (Danielle). It replaces the current dependency on an underperforming global UDM team and frees senior team members from data work well below their grade. This is an execution-focused data-driven non-managerial role.

Key responsibilities include:

Regional Dashboard & Automated Reporting

  • Build andmaintainthe centralised EMEA SOT 2026 dashboard inQuickSight(modelled on AMER approach)

  • Design semi-automated recurring reports (weekly/monthly) with scheduled data refresh workflows

  • Create templated narrative frameworks aligned tosupport client ESGcompliance reporting requirements

  • Develop success metric calculation logic for carbon KPIs water reduction EPP targets OTP%

  • Map EMEA data pipelines and build dashboard framework adapted for EMEA/APAC scope

Utility Data Quality Assurance (QA/QC)

  • Conduct regional utility data quality assurance target: reduce error rates from 3040% to below 5%

  • Audit EMEA data sources and assess data quality gaps

  • Chase data submissions and troubleshoot gaps with FM/IFM teams

  • Establish proactive data quality management with feedback loops to global UDM team

  • Validate data against source systems identifyand resolve discrepancies before they reach governance reporting

Carbon Energy & Water Analytics

  • Apply ILFI formula for EUI benchmarking across 41 strategic EMEA sites

  • Support site-level energy benchmarking and utility data oversight

  • Process HVAC/IAQ sensor data and quantify energy savings across 8 EMEA sites (9Foundations programme)

  • Monthly HVAC screening and annual benchmarking cycles

  • Carbon project pipeline data support M&V data preparation and tracking

Waste & Soft Services Data Analytics

  • Waste data analytics and interpretation to support programme progress reporting

  • Track and report on waste diversion landfill reduction and recycling rate KPIs

  • Support Bin It Right programme with data collection analysis and reporting

  • Coordinate with FM teams on waste data completeness and quality

  • Produce waste/soft services data outputs for client-facing governance updates

Building Performance & Energy (BPE) Data Management

  • Manage BPE data collection and automation

  • EUI gap analysis for top 41 EMEA sites

  • BPE automation implementation and ongoing maintenance

  • Support decarbonisation audit data preparation and scheduling

  • Compliance & Governance Reporting Support

  • Support corporate reportingobjectives management information on utilities and environmental impact

ESGcompliance reporting data preparation

  • Produce monthly and quarterly reports tailored to client-specific requirements

  • Ensure data accuracy and audit-readiness for all governance submissions

  • Track and communicate success stories with supporting data/evidence

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Develop and enhance systems and processes for delivering best practice sustainability performance

  • Leverage client tools and in-house JLL tools for data management and reporting

  • Identifyprocess improvements and automation opportunities to reduce manual effort

  • Work closely with Performance Optimisation Manager to adjust processes where data insightsindicateneeded focus or calibration

  • Support SOPs for dashboard and reporting maintenance

Expected Outcomes andCritical Deliverables (first 6-months)

  • EMEA SOT 2026 Dashboard built tested and launched inQuickSight

  • Utility data error rate reduced from 3040% to below 5%

  • Semi-automated reporting workflows operational (weekly/monthly)

  • EUI benchmarking complete across 41 strategic EMEA sites HVAC/IAQ sensor dataprocessedand energy savings quantified (8 sites)

  • BPE data collection automation process flow mapped

  • Waste data analytics framework established

Requirements Essential

  • University degree in environmental science data analytics engineering or related

  • 12 years in sustainability/energy data analysis or environmental data management

  • Strong analytical skills Excel (advanced) data manipulation statistical analysis

  • Dashboard toolproficiencyQuickSight Power BI or Tableau

  • Meticulous attention to detail zero tolerance for data errors

  • Proactive self-starter comfortable chasing data troubleshooting gaps working independently

  • Clear communicator able to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements Desirable

  • Experience with utility data management platforms

  • Knowledge of sustainability compliance frameworks

  • SQL or Python for data manipulation

  • Experience working within FM/IFM or corporate real estate environments

  • Understanding of energy benchmarking methodologies (EUI ILFI)

  • M&V data or energy audit support experience
