Role:

We are hiring on behalf of our clients who include leading electrical contractors commercial fit-out specialists and facilities management companies.

Because projects vary heavily from fast-paced office refits to large-scale retail and new- build commercial developments we are looking for skilled fully qualified Commercial Electricians capable of delivering high-quality installations and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Install test and commission commercial electrical systems including containment (conduit tray trunking basket) sub-main cabling and power distribution.

First and second-fix installation of commercial lighting emergency lighting smart lighting controls and power systems.

Carry out fault-finding maintenance and reactive repairs on commercial single- phase and three-phase electrical systems.

Read interpret and work accurately from schematic drawings building plans and wiring diagrams.

Maintain a clean hazard-free working area perform strict electrical isolation and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and strictly adhere to all site health and safety guidelines RAMS and protective equipment regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience working as an Electrician within commercial retail office fit-out or light industrial environments.

A valid ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician status) is essential for commercial site access.

Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations (or equivalent C&G 2357/2365) is required.

Health & Safety: A full and thorough understanding of on-site health and safety regulations including Safe Isolation procedures (LOTO) working at heights (podiums/scaffolding) risk awareness and proper use of PPE.

Testing (Desirable): C&G 2391 or 2394/2395 in Inspection and Testing is highly advantageous.

Possession of your own comprehensive set of hand tools cordless power tools and calibrated test equipment.
