Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer (Control Panels)

Description:
We are hiring for our client a well-established and growing engineering business who are seeking to appoint an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Design Engineer to work on bespoke engineering solutions collaborating closely with contractors and internal teams to deliver high-quality control panel designs.

The successful Electrical Design Engineer will play a key role in translating customer requirements into practical manufacturable designs supporting projects from concept through to delivery.

The Role:
Design bespoke control panels based on client engineering requirements
Produce detailed electrical schematics for manufacturing teams
Liaise regularly with Mechanical & Electrical Contractors
Ensure designs are practical efficient and manufacturable
Support system testing fault finding and commissioning where required
Work to project deadlines ensuring delivery on time and within budget

The Person:
Experience in Electrical HVAC BMS or Process Control environments
Strong background in electrical design and engineering
Proficient in CAD packages such as Eplan AutoCad or SolidWorks Electrical
Ability to create accurate schematic drawings for manufacture
Experience in control and instrumentation design is desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines
