Educational Psychologist
Job Summary
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify learning and behavioural needs.
- Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to educators on effective teaching strategies and interventions.
- Deliver training sessions and workshops for school staff and parents on child development and mental health issues.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic care for students.
- Stay updated with the latest research and developments in educational psychology to inform practice.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in educational psychology or a related field.
- Proven track record of working effectively with children young people and families.
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about industry trends.
- Relevant qualifications in psychology with a focus on education or child development.

Required Skills:
Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a health care setting. Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and patient care standards. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry advancements. Driving/Access to a Vehicle is essential for this role.
