Job Summary
An outstanding secondary school in Nottingham is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Economics Teacher to join its successful department on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated teacher to inspire students and contribute to a strong academic environment with high expectations for achievement.
The successful Economics Teacher will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS4 and KS5 helping students develop a strong understanding of economic principles and their application to current affairs and the wider world.
You will encourage students to think critically analyse economic issues and develop the skills required to succeed in examinations and further study. The role would suit an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT looking to develop within a supportive department.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong subject knowledge in Economics
Experience teaching Economics at KS4 and KS5
Ability to plan and deliver engaging well-structured lessons
Strong classroom management and communication skills
High expectations of student achievement and behaviour
A commitment to supporting students academic development
