41900 per annum Term-Time Only 9:00am 5:00pm

Are you a qualified Early Years Teacher with a passion for helping children develop the skills confidence and independence they need for a successful transition to school

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Teacher (QTS) to lead learning within their preschool room. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with experience in a UK primary school or early years setting who is passionate about play-based learning school readiness and delivering exceptional early years education.

Working within a nurturing and child-centred environment youll play a key role in preparing children for Reception helping them build strong foundations for future learning.

What Were Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school or early years setting
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Understanding of play-based learning and school readiness
  • Experience planning delivering and assessing learning activities
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to lead and support a team effectively

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead learning and teaching within the preschool room
  • Plan and deliver engaging age-appropriate activities
  • Support childrens development confidence and independence
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate learning records
  • Prepare children for a successful transition into Reception
  • Work collaboratively with families to support learning and development
  • Support and guide colleagues within the room
  • Create a stimulating environment that encourages curiosity exploration and creativity
