Make Your Mark in Wimbledons Early Years!

There is no such thing as a completely quiet day in early years and honestly that is exactly why we love it. We are looking for energetic proactive people who never just stand on the sidelines waiting to be told what to do next. Whether you are quickly catching a spilled drink before it spreads or starting an impromptu storytime to settle a busy room you are always one step ahead. If you genuinely thrive in the daily buzz of a nursery and jump into every single activity with enthusiasm we need your energy.

We are currently working alongside some incredible busy nurseries dotted throughout Wimbledon and the London Borough of Merton. They are crying out for proactive Early Years Practitioners and Assistants who can jump in read the room and support their core teams with a big smile.

Because you give so much to the children we know you need a work diary that actually lets you recharge. Our flexible supply network gives you the freedom to choose your own shifts. You bring the passion and initiative and we will provide a working schedule that fits seamlessly around your real life.

Requirements
The Proactive Team We Need:

We need friendly forward-thinking staff who are ready to make a positive impact from day one. We are warmly welcoming applications across two pathways:

1. The Qualified Professionals (Level 2 & Level 3):

  • You hold a full relevant Early Years qualification (such as an NVQ CACHE NNEB or a Level 3 Early Years Educator diploma).

  • (Quick note: Health & Social Care or Teaching Assistant qualifications do not meet the statutory nursery ratios for this specific tier).

2. The Experienced Assistants (Unqualified):

  • You might not have your formal certificate just yet but you have fantastic recent experience working in a fast-paced nursery. You know the drill you love the environment and you take initiative without needing to be asked.

What you must bring to the floor:

  • The Right Energy: A genuine upbeat approach to childcare rock-solid reliability and the drive to make every shift a great one.

  • First Aid Ready: A Full Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certificate is highly preferred. If you dont have one right now you just need to be willing to complete the training to help us keep the children safe.

Benefits
Why You Will Love Working With Us:
  • Fantastic Weekly Pay: Your hard work shouldnt go unnoticed. Take home between 12.75 and 14.50 per hour with your wages cleared in your bank every single Friday.

  • Stay Local in SW19: Wave goodbye to the exhausting cross-London commutes. We match your skills with wonderful settings right here in Wimbledon and the wider Merton area.

  • Total Rota Freedom: You are the boss of your own calendar. Whether you want a full week of shifts just a few mornings or only term-time work you tell us exactly what you need.

  • The 100 Referral Bonus: Great staff know other great staff. Send a proactive early years friend our way and we will say thank you with a 100 cash bonus once they complete 100 hours of work.

Required Skills:

Who We Are Looking For: We pride ourselves on providing nurseries with enthusiastic reliable staff who genuinely love working with children. We have roles across two tiers: The Qualified Tier (Level 2 & Level 3): You hold a Full & Relevant Early Years or Childcare qualification (e.g. NVQ CACHE Level 3 Early Years Educator NNEB). Please note: Due to government ratio regulations Health & Social Care or Teaching Assistant (TA) qualifications do not meet the criteria for Qualified Practitioner rates. Compliance (The 2025 Standard): Safety first! To be counted in nursery ratios you must hold a Full Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certificate. If you dont have one right now you must be willing to complete the training immediately to keep our little ones safe and compliant with regulations.
