Early Help Worker

We are working closely withSefton MBCto assist with the appointment of an Early Help Worker on a 5-months contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 16.87- 22.18 per hour

Summary:

The Early Help Worker will provide early intervention and practical support to children young people aged 019 and their families. Working in a strengths-based and solution-focused way the postholder will engage and empower families to identify their own needs develop solutions build resilience and achieve sustainable positive change.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and progress an allocated caseload effectively using a strengths-based and solution-focused approach to achieve positive outcomes for children young people and families.
• Engage with children young people and families to identify their strengths needs and priorities and support them to develop their own solutions.
• Ensure the voices wishes and experiences of children young people and family members are captured throughout the assessment planning intervention and review process.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of assessments plans interventions actions reviews family interactions and agreed exit strategies.

Qualifications:

• A relevant Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care Children and Young Peoples Services Family Support Youth Work Education or a related field is desirable.
• GCSEs or equivalent qualifications including English and Mathematics are desirable.
• Relevant safeguarding child protection family support or Early Help training is advantageous.

Essentials:

• Experience of working directly with children young people and families.
• Experience of delivering practical emotional or targeted support within a family support social care education youth work health or community setting.
• Experience of undertaking assessments identifying needs and developing support plans.

• You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
• You should have right to work in U.K
• This role requires an Enhanced DBS
