The Hive Brightonis a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our growing early learning team. Youll play a key role in delivering exceptional educational programs while working in a supportive environment that values collaboration professional growth and high-quality outcomes for children.

The Opportunity

As our Early Childhood Teacher you will:

  • Deliver a high-quality kindergarten program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Create engaging play-based learning experiences that inspire curiosity confidence and a love of learning
  • Observe assess and document childrens learning and development
  • Foster childrens independence creativity critical thinking and social-emotional wellbeing
  • Build strong positive relationships with families through open and meaningful communication
  • Mentor and collaborate with educators to support best practice across the team
  • Create a safe inclusive and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported

About You

To be successful in this role youll have:

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
  • Minimum two years experience as an Early Childhood Teacher
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current First Aid Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Strong communication leadership and relationship-building skills
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality educational outcomes and mentoring fellow educators
