EAP Applications Consultant

As an Applications Consultant youll play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of critical IT systems that support Social Care & Education services. Working with applications such as Liquidlogic and Controcc youll help ensure that our frontline services have reliable effective systems to support the delivery of care and manage key operational and financial processes.

Join a team that helps keep critical Social Care Social Care Finance and Education services running this role youll support essential business applications ensuring frontline staff have reliable secure and effective systems that enable them to deliver high-quality services to residents.

Provide application support for Social Care Finance systems (such as Controcc) resolve technical issues manage application lifecycle activities maintain data integrity and compliance and offer expert advice to users and stakeholders. Youll also contribute to service improvements and help maximise the value and effectiveness of key business systems.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have experience of supporting administering using or working alongside Social Care Finance processes and related systems (for example Controcc and Liquidlogic) with an understanding of how financial and care management processes interact.
• Possess problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Have the ability to provide effective customer service which will include providing clear and succinct advice responding appropriately to customers needs.
• Have the ability to plan and organise a varied workload for self and others working to short deadlines.

• Has problem solving skills and the ability to exercise high levels of initiative to devise and implement workable solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving working with technology and has strong communication skills for dealing with suppliers and end users to make a tangible difference in the services the Council provides.
