Driver

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Southwarkto assist with the appointment of a Driver on a 3-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 121.48 - 160.05 per day

Summary:

Support the delivery of street cleansing services by operating cleaning equipment removing graffiti addressing public hazards and maintaining clean and safe public spaces. The role involves using high-powered jet wash equipment and mobile reporting systems while ensuring high standards of health and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Operate high-powered jet wash equipment to clean streets and public areas.
• Remove graffiti and carry out paint-over treatments where required.
• Respond to and address public hazards in line with service standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of highways footpaths and public spaces.
• Use smartphone-based reporting systems and applications to record completed work and report issues.

Essentials:

• Full UK driving licence.
• Basic IT skills including the ability to use smartphones and reporting apps.
• Experience in driving or outdoor operational roles.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate high-powered jet wash equipment.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
