Driver 18T plus Hiab

We are actively looking to appoint an 18T HGV Driver preferably with HIAB experience to join our successful team in Colchester. If you are a hardworking flexible individual who enjoys working as part of a team this may be the perfect opportunity for you! 

Your job

Our drivers are customer facing as they deliver civils and drainage products to customers in Colchester and surrounding areas. Duties will include:

• Efficient & safe operation of the vehicle
• Complete & on time delivery of orders to JDP customers
• Comply with all vehicle and drivers legislation
• Represent JDP at point of delivery providing excellent customer service and upholding JDPs strong reputation.

Candidate Profile:

- Eager and supportive individual willing to learn all aspects of our operations
- Possession of a Class C License and HIAB
- Some Driver CPC training completed
- Digital driving license (tachograph card)
- Knowledge of Health & Safety in a workplace
- Comprehensive understanding of driver procedures including driving hours rules & regulations
- Ability to plan the most efficient routes for the daily delivery schedule
- Outstanding communication and customer service abilities

Qualifications :

Must hold Class C licence.

Hiab - Desirable but not essential. Training will be discussed and provided for the right candidate.

Having FLT experience would be beneficial.
