A creative secondary school in Wymondham is seeking an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join its performing arts department. The successful candidate will deliver inspiring lessons and contribute to productions performances and wider creative opportunities.
Teach Drama: Deliver practical and theoretical Drama lessons across KS3 GCSE and post-16 groups.
Develop performance skills: Help students build confidence in acting movement voice and ensemble work.
Support productions: Assist with school plays showcases and performing arts events.
Prepare examination students: Guide students through practical assessments and written coursework.
Encourage creativity: Use improvisation performance and theatre-making activities.
Build confidence: Support students in developing communication collaboration and presentation skills.
Drama specialist: Has strong knowledge of performance theatre practice and Drama education.
Qualified teacher: Holds QTS or an equivalent qualification.
Creative practitioner: Can deliver energetic and imaginative practical lessons.
Production experience: Experience supporting performances or school productions is desirable.
Strong organiser: Can manage rehearsals resources and performance deadlines.
Positive role model: Builds confidence and encourages students to take creative risks.
Arts-focused school: A setting that values creativity and student expression.
Specialist spaces: Access to drama studios performance areas and creative resources.
