Position: Teacher of Drama
Start Date: ASAP or January 2027
Contract: Full-time permanent
Salary/Hours: MPS/UPS dependent on experience Full-time
Wayman Education is seeking a creative and committed Drama Teacher for opportunities in Bury. This role would suit someone who can inspire pupils through performance practical exploration and the development of communication skills.

Teach Drama across KS3 and KS4.
Deliver practical workshops and classroom-based theory lessons.
Develop pupils performance rehearsal and evaluation skills.
Support coursework and examination preparation where applicable.
Contribute to performances and extracurricular opportunities as required.
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has a strong background in Drama and performance.
Can organise practical activities and maintain a focused learning environment.
Encourages collaboration creativity and confidence.
Has a positive approach to behaviour management and pupil progress.
MPS/UPS depending on experience and the schools pay structure.
