Salary:
15.38 to 20.51 per hour depending on experience
Downstream Scientist Role:
- Plan and execute laboratory and pilot-scale studies through hands-on experimentation.
- Deliver downstream purification processes to support clinical programs and business milestones.
- Provide technical and operational expertise in downstream processing within development laboratories and pilot plant environments.
- Author high-quality technical reports and documentation in a timely manner.
- Maintain a high standard of GxP compliance during experimental execution and documentation
- Support the maintenance and readiness of downstream laboratory equipment.
- Hold a relevant life science degree or have equivalent working experience.
- Some industry experience in biopharmaceutical downstream development or manufacturing.
- This role is ideal for an early-career scientist with downstream purification experience who is ready to take technical ownership of processes
- Experience with the following would be an advantage
- FPLC Chromatography
- TFF
- Depth Filtration
- Process Scale Up
- JMP Data Analysis Software.
- Familiarity with GxP Standards.
