DOCUMENT CONTROLLER

SIZEWELL LEISTON

CONTRACT TYPE: PERMANENT

SALARY: COMPETITIVE

The role briefly encompasses the following duties but is not limited to:

Managing project documentation records document registers and tracking systems.

Processing document submissions transmittals revisions and status changes.

Maintaining the Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensuring accurate document classification numbering and filing.

Monitoring document review and approval workflows ensuring controlled and up-to-date documentation is available to project teams.

Supporting information management correspondence tracking reporting and document retrieval activities.

Ensuring compliance with client project and ISO quality management requirements.

Coordinating document control activities across clients subcontractors suppliers and project stakeholders.

Supporting audits governance reviews quality assurance processes and project close-out activities.

Producing document control reports metrics and performance information for project management teams.

Managing confidential and sensitive project information in line with project procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/experience/attributes:

GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics with strong Microsoft Office and document management system skills.

Experience working as a Document Controller within construction engineering infrastructure or similar project environments.

Proven experience managing electronic document management systems document registers transmittals and controlled documentation.

Strong knowledge of Common Data Environments (CDEs) records management document control procedures and information governance.

Experience supporting multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating document reviews across multiple stakeholders.

Strong reporting administrative organisational and data management skills with excellent attention to detail.

Effective communication skills including stakeholder liaison report preparation and client-facing interactions.

Ability to analyse information identify trends solve problems and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.

Collaborative proactive and professional approach with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.

Desirable: Information Management or Document Control certification experience with Aconex Asite or SharePoint NEC contract environments ISO-certified management systems and experience within regulated sectors such as infrastructure utilities energy water or nuclear projects. major infrastructure nuclear energy water or utilities projects.
