Distribution Shift Manager

Shift : Monday to Thursday  10am to 6pm

Opportunity for an experienced leader in transport operations to join the team as Distribution Shift Manager at our Fresh Direct (a Sysco company) depot in Bicester Oxfordshire on a permanent basis.  Youll play a key role in a dynamic and fast-paced distribution environment taking charge of night shift ensuring our team consistently perform to the highest possible standards.

From day one youll be at the heart of our transport operation overseeing driver performance maintaining compliance with all legislative and company requirements and driving initiatives that improve efficiency and service levels.  As a strong people leader youll work closely with the Distribution Manager to develop and inspire a high-performing team of drivers and 4 administration colleagues. Youll be responsible not only for managing costs and staying within budget but also for cultivating a positive and professional working environment; where colleagues feel valued supported and motivated to deliver excellence.

Health safety compliance and customer service standards will be your top priorities. By leading from the front youll ensure our operation runs smoothly safely and effectively. This role is both challenging and rewarding offering variety responsibility and the chance to make a real impact every day.

Were looking for someone with a solid understanding of transport legislation and operational requirements. Ideally youll hold a Management CPC qualification or be an experienced Leader who is ready to work towards becoming a transport professional.
