Distribution Centre Operative
Job Summary

Salary and shifts:
AM shift:7.30am - 3.30pm - (30 min lunch break) -15.47 PAYE basic pay rate (excluding holiday pay)
PM shift:1.00pm - 9.00pm - (30 min lunch break) - 17.01 PAYE basic pay rate (excluding holiday pay)
Distribution Centre Operative Role:
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately (correct item quantity batch number and expiry date).
- Receive deliveries and store stock in the correct area (ambient chilled or frozen).
- Load and unload vehicles and move stock to keep picking areas topped up.
- Handle urgent orders cross-docked items and customer returns.
- Use the SAP warehouse management system (WMS) and follow housekeeping/quality procedures to keep the warehouse safe and organised.
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English.
- Warehouse experience is desirable.
- Forklift licence is desirabletraining can be provided.
- Good attention to detail and comfortable using computer systems (SAP MS Office).
- Reliable flexible team player who can follow procedures.
