Disability Support Worker Canterbury area

We are seeking vibrant and dedicated individuals who have a passion for creating meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive.

About the role:

We are recruiting 3 casuals to support across the Canterbury Narwee Belfield and Ryde area in our SIL homes

  • Provide warm respectful person-centred support that promotes dignity and independence
  • Follow behaviour support strategies routines and safety procedures consistently
  • Support participants with daily living personal care health routines and community access
  • Use calm communication and effective de-escalation to manage behaviours of concern
  • Work confidently and independently while following structured support plans
  • Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with the wider team
  • Bring patience reliability and a calm supportive approach to every shift

What youll need:

  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings afternoons evenings weekends and overnight (active/sleepover).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check.
  • Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Green Ps or higher NSW drivers licence
  • Valid Australian working rights and international police check (if applicable).
