Location: Hybrid between our Mariner House Dartford office and home

Salary: Circa 90000 per annum plus a Car Allowance of 2411 per annum

Hours: Full time 35 hours per week

We are now looking for an exceptional Director of Strategic Asset Management to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our property portfolio and enhancing the lives of our customers.

This is a rare opportunity to join our senior leadership team in a role that combines strategic influence innovation and visible leadership with the autonomy to make a lasting difference at scale.

The opportunity

As Director of Strategic Asset Management youll lead the development and delivery of our long-term asset strategy ensuring our homes are fit for the future meet regulatory expectations support our ambitions for net zero and sustainability all whilst supporting Moats continued financial strength.

Youll oversee major investment programmes including retrofit and planned works ensuring value for money operational excellence and outstanding customer outcomes. Working closely with the Board Executive Team and key stakeholders youll provide critical insight assurance and leadership across the organisation.

What youll be leading

• Strategic vision: Develop and deliver long medium and short-term asset management strategies (130 years) including investment and divestment roadmaps for the assets we own
• Sustainability & compliance: Drive our net zero ambitions and ensure compliance with evolving building safety and housing standards
• Investment excellence: Oversee large-scale capital programmes and major works ensuring delivery to time budget and quality
• Data-led transformation: Champion the use of data and intelligence to improve services and decision-making
• Commercial performance: Embed strong financial discipline procurement strategy and contract management
• Customer focus: Place customer experience choice and engagement at the heart of everything we do
• Leadership: Inspire high-performing teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability

What youll bring

• Proven senior leadership experience in asset management within social housing
• Deep expertise in asset optimisation portfolio modelling and investment planning
• Strong understanding of UK housing regulation building safety and net zero delivery
• A track record of delivering large-scale capital works and transformation programmes
• Exceptional financial acumen and the ability to influence at Board level
• A collaborative visible leadership style with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
