Job Summary
Job Title: Digital Graduate TraineeThis is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate in Digital E-commerce Marketing or a related field to gain hands-on experience across the full breadth of a successful e-commerce business. As a Digital Graduate Trainee you will work on a structured 12-month programme that provides exposure to the key functions that drive online growth and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time fixed-term position working 38 hours a week and is based on site in Elgin. The role will generally involve working Monday to Friday; however during peak periods you will be required to work 5 days out of 7 including weekends. Salary for this role is 26577 per annum. About the RoleWorking closely with Operations Digital Marketing and the Onsite E-commerce Team you will develop practical skills and build a broad understanding of how each department contributes to commercial success. The role is designed for someone with a genuine passion for digital commerce who is eager to learn contribute and develop their career. You will support day-to-day business activity work alongside experienced colleagues and gain valuable insight into customer service logistics digital marketing website management merchandising analytics and customer experience. By the end of the programme you will have developed a strong foundation in the skills processes and technologies that underpin a Digital team. The key responsibilities will include:Digital Marketing ResponsibilitiesSupport the delivery of digital marketing campaigns across multiple with reporting analytics and performance monitoring using digital marketing tools and with channels such as Google Ads Google Analytics Meta and other relevant digital marketing prepare performance reports and identify trends opportunities and content creation campaign execution and promotional how digital marketing activity contributes to traffic conversion and revenue E-commerce ResponsibilitiesSupport website content updates and merchandising with product launches category management and promotional to improvements in customer experience usability and on-site exposure to web design and website development with the e-commerce team to maintain accurate product information and testing quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives across the ResponsibilitiesPick pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and order fulfilment targets and contribute to excellent operational high-quality customer service through email telephone and digital scarves throws and other products through embroidery and customisation services maintaining exceptional quality with stock handling inventory management and operational identify opportunities to improve fulfilment efficiency and customer youWe are looking for a candidate whoRecently graduated in Digital E-commerce Marketing or a related organised proactive and able to manage a varied workload across multiple Curious and enthusiastic about learning every aspect of a digital and e-commerce a positive attitude is self-motivated and eager to take ownership of tasks and receptive to feedback direction and mentorship with a desire for continuous excellent verbal and written communication skills in comfortable using digital tools and keen to develop technical and commercial UsFounded in 1797 Johnstons of Elgin is an innovative luxury clothing brand celebrating 225 years of experience in working with the worlds finest fibres.
