At Sulzer Leeds we design and build some of the worlds most advanced engineered pump packages the kind that keep global infrastructure moving and can weigh anything up to 150 tonnes. As we continue to grow and bring key capabilities inhouse were now looking for a Despatch Freight Coordinator to help us take full control of our import export and heavylift logistics. If you thrive in complex highvalue engineering environments and love the challenge of outofgauge and break bulk freight this is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in how we move some of the biggest kit in the industry.

Key Duties

• Coordinate global import and export shipments ensuring compliance with customs regulations and trade laws.

• Manage OOG and break bulk shipments working closely with specialist carriers port operators and freight forwarders.

• Prepare and verify shipping and customs documentation (CDS entries bills of lading CoO packing lists).

• Plan and book UK and international transport optimising routes loads and freight costs.

• Monitor shipment progress maintain accurate records and keep internal teams updated in real time.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in freight coordination transport planning or logisticsideally within heavy engineering or project cargo.

• Knowledge of out-of-gauge break bulk or oversized cargo handling (road sea or multimodal).

• Strong understanding of customs procedures Incoterms and international trade compliance.

• Excellent organisation communication and problemsolving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced projectdriven environment.
