Our client is looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher to join a successful secondary school in St Albans. This is an excellent opportunity for a practical and creative teacher who enjoys helping students turn ideas into tangible outcomes.

The successful candidate will teach Design Technology at KS3 and KS4 delivering a curriculum that develops students understanding of design processes materials manufacturing techniques and product development.

You will be responsible for creating lessons that combine theoretical knowledge with practical application. Students will be encouraged to research design prototype manufacture and evaluate their work while developing increasingly sophisticated technical skills.

The successful teacher will also be expected to assess student work provide constructive feedback and maintain high expectations throughout the design and making process. Health and safety will be an important part of the role particularly during practical activities involving tools machinery and specialist equipment.
