Job Summary
We require an innovative highly technical Design & Technology (DT) Teacher to deliver elite product design systems and materials instruction across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. Operating within a high-achieving academically selective grammar school framework the successful candidate will facilitate an advanced industry-linked curriculum designed to foster complex spatial engineering advanced computer-aided design (CAD/CAM) and flawless material manipulation preparing all pupils thoroughly for terminal GCSE Design and Technology and linear A-Level Product Design examinations.

Elite Iterative Portfolio Moderation: Guide examination cohorts meticulously through the demanding requirements of the Non-Exam Assessment (NEA) contextual design briefs tracking progress metrics to ensure exhaustive testing and elite-tier portfolio presentation.
Academic Pastoral Mentorship: Fulfil full form tutor and academic mentor responsibilities within an established pastoral framework supporting student wellbeing managing university application guidance for engineering pathways and maintaining professional communication with families.
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching credential paired with a strong honours degree in Product Design Mechanical Engineering Sustainable Design or a closely related industrial discipline. Full machinery safety certification is essential.
