A high-performing Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in Hammersmith is seeking a versatile and passionate Design & Technology Teacher with expertise in both Resistant Materials and Food Technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in Resistant Materials and Food Technology (Food Preparation & Nutrition).

  • Support GCSE students with non-exam assessment (NEA) coursework and practical exam preparation.

  • Maintain strict health safety and hygiene standards across both workshop environments and food technology rooms.

  • Inspire students through hands-on learning design thinking and practical problem-solving.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS (ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply).

  • Proven experience delivering both Resistant Materials and Food Technology at secondary level.

  • Valid Food Hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain before start date).

  • Full right to work in the UK.
