Our client is seeking an articulate dynamic Design & Technology Teacher to join their thriving design and engineering faculty from September. This is a full-time permanent position ideal for an experienced Main Scale Teacher or an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT) with strong practical skills and a commitment to academic excellence.
The successful candidate will teach across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (A-Level Product Design / Level 3 Vocational Engineering). You will deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons inspire high standards of CAD/CAM modeling foster innovative problem-solving skills and guide students through their course design portfolios (NEA).
The department boasts cutting-edge workshop facilities including 3D printing suites CNC machinery laser cutters and dedicated digital design suites.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) QTLS or recognized FE teaching qualifications
A degree in Design & Technology Product Design Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
Proven track record (or potential) to deliver high-quality DT / Product Design teaching up to Key Stage 5 / Level 3
Strong knowledge of modern workshop safety standards risk assessment protocols and digital design tools (e.g. SolidWorks Fusion 360 2D Design)
