Design Technology Teacher

An innovative Secondary School in Bradford is seeking a creative and committed Design Technology Teacher to join its well-resourced Technology department. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a school that values creativity innovation and practical learning while supporting students to develop skills that will prepare them for future careers.

The successful candidate will teach Design Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4 supporting students in developing practical skills creativity technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities through a range of design and manufacturing projects. You will contribute to curriculum development ensuring programmes of study remain engaging relevant and aligned with current industry practices where appropriate. The role also includes maintaining workshop safety standards managing equipment and materials effectively and supporting students in producing high-quality coursework and practical outcomes.

The successful candidate will be encouraged to contribute to extracurricular opportunities including design competitions STEM initiatives and project-based learning activities that enhance students experiences beyond the classroom.
