Our client is seeking an articulate hands-on Design & Technology Teacher to join their design and engineering faculty from September. You will deliver dynamic practical and theoretical lessons across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 (GCSE D&T) and Key Stage 5 (A-Level Product Design / Level 3 Engineering).

The department boasts cutting-edge workshop facilities including 3D printing suites laser cutters CNC machinery and dedicated CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks 2D Design). You will guide pupils through material properties structural mechanics iterative design processes and portfolio development (NEA).

Qualifications & Criteria

• QTS/QTLS and a relevant degree in Product Design Mechanical Engineering or D&T

• Proven ability to teach across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 curriculum frameworks

• Sound working knowledge of workshop machinery safety standards (DATA standards) and modern CAD/CAM software

• Enthusiasm for practical problem-solving and guiding students through non-examined assessment (NEA) portfolios
