Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality engaging Design Technology lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS3/KS4).
Create a positive structured learning environment where students feel confident using tools modeling materials and testing prototypes.
Differentiate learning resources to stretch high-attaining pupils while robustly supporting students with lower prior attainment or SEN requirements.
Assess track and report on student progress effectively using data to inform interventions and maximize GCSE outcomes.
Participate in departmental meetings parents evenings and continuous professional development sessions.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
A strong degree in a design or technology-related discipline.
Proven ability to raise attainment and inspire engagement in practical hands-on environments.
Excellent organizational skills a team-player mentality and a strict adherence to safety guidelines.
