Job Summary
Responsibilities
Provide or arrange specialist engineering support for the GWS 45 system.- Operate from MBDA W/front Team office ensuring MAWS PT are informed of any emergent defects/shortcomings in performance & provide specialist advice Assist in conduct of Material AssessmentsModification proposals & contractor involvementincl follow up actions/action plans for in-service equipt.
- Assist Flag Officer Sea Training (FOST) in supporting Material Assessment Safety Checks (MASC)when required Liaise with NCHQ HM Ships and contractors as required to support the Fleet.
- Visit Abbey Wood as required to brief PT staff on waterfront/T45 issues Monitor ODMS and liaise with MBDA/MAWS over timely SITREP of T45 OPDEFs and to facilitate Support Planning for OPDEF resolution Advising project staff and contractors on the suitability of proposed design changes and the effect on upkeep and logistic support.
