Our client is looking for a dedicated Deputy Service Manager to support the day-to-day running of a welcoming supported living service for younger adults. This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate team committed to empowering individuals to live as independently as possible while receiving high-quality person-centred support.
Working closely with the Service Manager youll play a key role in leading the staff team ensuring outstanding standards of care and creating a positive environment where both the people you support and your colleagues can thrive. This role offers a rewarding balance of leadership mentoring and hands-on support.
What Were Looking For:
- Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or above
- Previous experience as a Deputy Service Manager Team Leader or similar senior role within health and social care
- Experience supporting younger adults within a supported living or similar care setting
- Full UK driving licence
- Good understanding of safeguarding person-centred care and relevant legislation
- Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality support and promoting independence

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Service Manager with the day-to-day running of the supported living service
- Lead motivate and supervise the support team to deliver outstanding person-centred care
- Promote independence choice dignity and inclusion for the people using the service
- Ensure care plans and risk assessments are implemented and regularly reviewed
- Support staff through supervision coaching and ongoing development
- Ensure safeguarding medication management and health & safety procedures are consistently followed
- Build positive relationships with families healthcare professionals and external agencies
- Deputise for the Service Manager in their absence
