As a Level 3 Room Leader youll take the lead in making these experiences meaningful. Youll create an environment where children feel secure enough to be curious confident enough to try new things and supported to develop at their own pace.

Alongside leading the day-to-day running of your room youll guide and motivate your team sharing ideas and encouraging high-quality practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced early years professional who wants to make their mark while continuing to develop their leadership career.

What Were Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience within an early years setting.
• Experience as a Room Leader Deputy Room Leader Senior Nursery Practitioner or similar.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
• Confidence leading supporting and developing a room team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A creative approach to early years education and a passion for learning through play.
• Enthusiasm for outdoor learning and helping children connect with the natural world.

Your Role

• Take ownership of the day-to-day running of your room.
• Lead and inspire your team to deliver consistently high standards of care and education.
• Create engaging learning experiences based around childrens individual interests and developmental needs.
• Make the most of the nurserys indoor and outdoor environments including its exciting play spaces and allotment.
• Encourage children to develop confidence curiosity creativity and independence.
• Support and mentor practitioners helping them grow within their roles.
• Build strong relationships with children and their families.
• Oversee observations and assessments to ensure every childs learning journey is effectively supported.
• Maintain excellent standards of safeguarding health and safety and early years practice.
