32000 per year Level 3 40 Hours per Week All Year Round

Are you an experienced early years professional ready to step into a leadership role where you can make a real impact This is an exciting opportunity to support the running of a high-quality nursery while helping to guide and develop a passionate team.

This beautifully refurbished nursery set within a stunning converted building is looking for an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join its leadership team. Were looking for someone with previous senior early years experience who is ready to support the Nursery Manager in maintaining outstanding standards of care and education.

Children benefit from thoughtfully designed learning environments both indoors and outdoors. The nursery boasts a fantastic garden allowing children of all ages to explore the outdoors safely and confidently. Inside spacious well-equipped rooms feature creative areas for messy play an inspiring art studio and cosy quiet spaces where children can relax read and recharge.

What Were Looking For

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous senior experience within an early years setting is essential.
  • Experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager Third in Charge Senior Room Leader or an experienced Room Leader ready to take the next step.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework safeguarding and child development.
  • Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills.
  • A positive proactive approach to supporting and developing nursery teams.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional early years education and care.

Your Role

  • Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day leadership and smooth running of the nursery.
  • Lead motivate and mentor the nursery team promoting consistently high standards of care and education.
  • Help maintain engaging learning environments that inspire creativity confidence and curiosity.
  • Support staff through coaching supervisions and ongoing professional development.
  • Build strong relationships with children families colleagues and external professionals.
  • Monitor the quality of practice across the nursery driving continuous improvement.
  • Ensure safeguarding health and safety and nursery policies are consistently followed.
  • Take responsibility for the nursery in the Managers absence.
