Deputy Nursery Manager

Up to 33000 per annum Full-Time All Year Round

We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Nursery Manager to join and support the day-to-day running of our clients welcoming nursery. This role is ideal for an experienced Deputy or a strong Room Leader or Third in Charge ready to step up.

The nursery offers a fun engaging environment where children develop confidence creativity and communication through play-based learning. A large well-equipped garden with outdoor resources and a sand pit supports active hands-on learning.

Working alongside the Nursery Manager youll help lead the team and ensure high standards of care and education.

What Were Looking For

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
  • Previous experience in a senior nursery role - Ideally experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager. Strong Room Leaders and Third in Charge candidates will also be considered
  • Excellent understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge
  • Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills
  • Passion for delivering exceptional early years education

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery
  • Lead motivate and mentor the nursery team to deliver exceptional care and education
  • Help create a stimulating environment where children develop confidence creativity communication and independence
  • Plan and oversee engaging activities that support childrens individual learning journeys
  • Promote outdoor learning by making full use of the nurserys spacious garden and outdoor resources
  • Build positive relationships with children families and colleagues
  • Ensure safeguarding health & safety and EYFS standards are consistently maintained
  • Deputise for the Nursery Manager in their absence
