Were recruiting for an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join a thriving Good Ofsted-rated nursery and support the continued success of a well-established early years setting.

The nursery provides a bright welcoming environment where children are encouraged to learn through play build confidence and develop the skills they need for the next stage of their education. Working closely with the Nursery Manager youll play a key role in leading the team maintaining high standards of care and education and ensuring the nursery continues to provide outstanding experiences for every child.

What Were Looking For

• Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Previous experience as a Third in Charge Deputy Nursery Manager or higher leadership role
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience supporting mentoring and developing nursery teams
• Passion for delivering high-quality childcare and education

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery
• Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional care and education
• Monitor quality and ensure compliance with EYFS and safeguarding requirements
• Support staff development through coaching mentoring and training
• Build positive relationships with children families and external professionals
• Help maintain occupancy parent engagement and operational standards
• Support childrens learning development and school readiness
• Step into the Nursery Manager role in their absence
• Promote a positive inclusive and inspiring nursery culture
