This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join an award-winning nursery group that is recognised for delivering outstanding childcare investing in its people and creating inspiring environments where children can flourish.

Rated Good by Ofsted this Montessori-inspired nursery is looking for a confident and passionate leader to work alongside the Nursery Manager in delivering exceptional care and education. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting and developing others while maintaining the highest standards of quality safeguarding and early years practice.

Working within a well-established organisation youll have the opportunity to influence the nurserys continued success by mentoring your team driving quality improvement and helping to create an environment where children develop confidence independence and a lifelong love of learning.

Deputy Nursery Manager Requirements

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
• Previous experience within an early years leadership role ideally as a Deputy Nursery Manager Assistant Nursery Manager or similar.
• Experience supporting or participating in an Ofsted inspection particularly those achieving Good or Outstanding.
• Proven ability to develop motivate and inspire high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework safeguarding child protection and wider early years legislation.
• Confident decision-maker with excellent leadership communication and organisational skills.

Deputy Nursery Manager Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day leadership and operational management of the nursery.
• Lead motivate and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional childcare and education.
• Ensure compliance with the EYFS framework safeguarding legislation and all statutory requirements.
• Drive continuous quality improvement and promote outstanding teaching and learning.
• Support recruitment inductions supervisions and staff development in line with safer recruitment practices.
• Build positive relationships with children families colleagues and external professionals.
• Monitor standards across the nursery and contribute towards successful Ofsted inspections.
• Take responsibility for the nursery in the Managers absence.
