Deputy Nursery Manager Requirements
Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
Previous experience within an early years leadership role ideally as a Deputy Nursery ManagerAssistant Nursery Manager or similar.
Experience supporting or participating in an Ofsted inspection particularly those achieving Good or Outstanding.
Proven ability to develop motivate and inspire high-performing teams.
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework safeguarding child protection and wider early years legislation.
Confident decision-maker with excellent leadership communication and organisational skills.

Deputy Nursery Manager Responsibilities
Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day leadership and operational management of the nursery.
Lead motivate and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional childcare and education.
Ensure compliance with the EYFS framework safeguarding legislation and all statutory requirements.
Drive continuous quality improvement and promote outstanding teaching and learning.
Support recruitment inductions supervisions and staff development in line with safer recruitment practices.
Build positive relationships with children families colleagues and external professionals.
Monitor standards across the nursery and contribute towards successful Ofsted inspections.
Take responsibility for the nursery in the Managers absence.
All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements including an enhanced DBS check satisfactory references and verification of the right to work in the UK in line with safeguarding responsibilities.
