Are you an experienced nurse leader ready to take the next step in your career Our client is looking for a Deputy Nurse Manager (RGN) to support the delivery of outstanding care within care home for older adults.

As Deputy Nurse Manager you will work closely with the Home Manager to lead and support the clinical team ensuring residents receive the very best in person-centred care. This full-time role offers a blend of hands-on clinical work and supernumerary hours giving you the scope to both care and lead.

Before You Apply

  • This role requires previous senior experience in a nursing home setting.
  • Candidates without experience in elderly care or care home leadership are not suitable.

Key Job Details

  • Salary: 55000 per year
  • 40 hours per week full-time permanent contract
  • Supernumerary hours

What Youll Need

  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC pin
  • Previous experience as Deputy Manager Clinical Lead in a nursing home
  • Experience in elderly care including dementia and complex nursing needs
  • Strong leadership mentoring and team management skills
  • Knowledge of CQC standards clinical governance and safeguarding

What Youll Do

  • Support the Home Manager in daily operational and clinical duties
  • Lead supervise and develop the nursing and care teams
  • Ensure person-centred care plans are delivered reviewed and updated
  • Maintain compliance with CQC standards and internal quality policies
  • Liaise with residents families GPs and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to recruitment performance reviews and staff training
