Salary: Up to 48950.00 per year (depending on level of experience training and qualification)
Ross Hall Hospital and Ross Hall Clinic Braehead in Glasgow is part of Circle Health Group Britains leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.
We have an opportunity for a Deputy Clinical Services Manager to join their team of staff in theOutpatients department.
This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
- Assist with daily staff allocation rotas and managing safe staffing levels and skill mix across the unit.
- Work clinically as part of the rota providing expert oversight and supporting the nursing team during shifts.
- Ensure the unit operates safely efficiently and effectively upholding high standards of patient care at all times.
- Contribute to audits incident reporting risk management and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide supervision mentorship and appraisal support to nursing staff and junior leaders.
- Support the implementation of service improvements innovation and operational changes.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
- Significant experience in a ward inpatient or critical care nursing environment.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
- Good understanding of governance patient safety and ward/critical care protocols.
- Strong communication organisation and leadership skills.
